IperionX Technology, a small-cap company specializing in high-performance titanium alloys, is raising $25 million in equity funding alongside a grant from the US Department of Defence. The company recently won a $12.7 million award under the Defence Production Act Investment program and aims to produce 10,000 million tonnes of titanium metal powder within five years.

Sources said IperionX’s largest shareholders, including Fidelity and B.

It noted that IperionX makes titanium alloys from titanium minerals or 100 per cent recycled materials, and wants to produce 10,000 million tonnes of titanium metal powder within five years.
