The euro rose 0.2 per cent to $US1.0669. The British pound rose 0.2 per cent to $US1.2462. Bitcoin rose 1.7 per cent to $US64,624.15.
The yield on 10-year Treasuries declined three basis points to 4.60 per cent. West Texas Intermediate crude fell 0.1 per cent to $US82.64 a barrel.
