Ireland and Munster rugby ace Conor Murray got married to his long-time partner, Derry model Joanna Cooper, this week.

Sharing pictures on social media on Tuesday, Derry native Joanna, 29, the 2015 Miss Universe Ireland, simply wrote: "Here’s to forever." She picked a boutique in Northern Ireland for her gown, and shared on social media: “I went to the wedding club in London and then Verona Bridal in Magherafelt and bought my dress here - they were so lovely to deal with and had gorgeous designers.

Joanna and Conor announced their engagement back in March 2022, after four years of dating, as the rugby player popped the question on their holiday in Dubai.There was an initial attraction between the pair, but the model explained that it wasn’t love at first sight.
