vacation always seems more magical when you can immerse yourself in the full Disney experience, including staying in one of the resort’s three hotels. One Disneyland hotel seems particularly aspirational and luxurious: the Grand Californian.
Even though I’ve been a passholder since I was young, I had never stayed at the Grand Californian. Once the hotel perks were announced, I felt like it was finally time to check it out. Search for rooms today, and you’ll find standard rooms for $800 to $1300 a night . This is where the hotel felt less like luxury, and more like one of Disney’s much busier value hotels.
