Pixie Rivalland, who messaged Bell right before the late teen’s phone fell silent, has remembered her as “a beautiful friend” in a Facebook post on Thursday.
A friend of Isla Bell has penned a heartfelt tribute to the “empathetic and affectionate” woman after a man was charged with her murder.
Bell was reported missing on October 10. Over the next six weeks, her family and friends blanketed Melbourne’s inner-north with posters, pleading with the public for help. “I feel as though a piece of my soul is gone. Isla was kind, gentle, loving, intelligent, ambitious. She had hopes dreams. She had so many things to do, places to go, people to see.“Isla loved nature animals, she loved exploring making memories, she loved being an aunty, she loved her family she loved this world – despite its cruelty.
