The National Weather Service warned of isolated but severe thunderstorms in South-Central Texas tonight. It said tennis-ball-sized hail, high winds and tornadoes were 'possible.'
There is a chance of severe thunderstorms in the Hill Country and the Interstate 35 corridor through 10 p.m. tonight. It will be hot all weekend.The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch through 10 p.m. Friday for parts of the Hill Country, the Interstate 35 corridor and Bastrop and Lee counties.
4:40 PM: severe storms are developing just to the north of our area. Storms could begin to push east into our Hill Country and northern I-35 zones over the next 2 hours. Large to very large hail and damaging winds will be the primary concerns in any activity.
