The Health Ministry, which is run by Hamas, said at least 500 people had been killed at the Al-Ahli al-Arabi Hospital. However, Western news organizations likeHowever, others in the region are concerned the final death toll could be much higher – as many as 1,000 – as the overall number of Palestinians killed by Israel in its response to the Hamas invasion and terror attacks on Oct. 7.
