UNRWA says a UN school-turned-shelter has been damaged in the Jabalia Refugee Camp in Gaza, reportedly killing at least 20. Sky News has verified footage showing many injured people at the school, but has been unable to identify the cause.
Following a series of comments from senior Biden administration in the last few hours, the White House has been reiterating its calls for a humanitarian pauses to the attacks on Gaza.
While he reiterated the White House's commitment to secure multiple humanitarian pauses to aid the release of hostages and to provide supplies to the people of Gaza, Mr Kirby emphasised that pauses would not mean a full ceasefire.'When we're talking about humanitarian pause, what we're talking about is temporary, localised pauses in the fighting to meet specific goals,' he said.
