U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken stressed that the consensus of Group of Seven ministers was that a humanitarian pause in the Israel-Hamas war would fulfil 'key' objectives.
The White House is attempting to juggle between multiple global crises, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken told reporters in Japan.
'We are determined, and we are, as we would say, running and chewing gum at the same time,' he said in response to a question on Washington's ability to tackle developing situations in the Middle East, Ukraine and Asia-Pacific. Blinken has finished another whirlwind tour of the Middle East in an attempt to broker diplomatic recourses to the Israel-Hamas war.
