A woman has been getting 'tacky' shoes anonymous delivered to her for almost a year.

She seems to be resigned to her fate, though. A woman in Illinois keeps on getting “tacky” shoes anonymously delivered to her home. The New York Post reports

how Simone Boutet of Oak Park—which is adjacent to Chicago—currently has 15 pairs of these shoes in total. Boutet had attempted to return the first pair back to UPS, explaining her situation to an employee who seemed to understand the mix-up. But then she got the same shoes redelivered to her several days later. Then another pair. Then another.. “And they’re really, really tacky. I can’t get it to stop and it’s really funny because of the shoes themselves, they’re just hilariously not my style.Boutet actually went into full detail about this absurdity in a Facebook post from January, explaining her situation to the social media world and providing pictures of the shoes she has been receiving.

“For almost a year, UPS has been delivering other people’s shoes to me that are apparently being returned to Amazon,” she writes. “I have tried to get them to cut it out but this glitch is stuck and I am condemned to this fate forevermore. Rerouting them is hopeless.
