Radio host Ray Hadley has lashed out against Sonny Bill Williams after the ex-footy star shared a bizarre post from disgraced social media influencer Andrew Tate about a shock stabbing inside a Sydney church.
'Brain the size of a cumquat': Ray Hadley slams ex-NRL star Sonny Bill Williams for Andrew Tate repost after Sydney church stabbing
A 16-year-old boy has been arrested but not yet charged over the incident, which police are treating as a terrorist attack. Former All Blacks star Williams, 38, shared horrifying footage of the attack originally posted by Tate on X. “His original post on Twitter linked the stabbing to comments Bishop Emmanuel has supposedly made about the Israel-Gaza war – which he hasn't, to my knowledge, made any statements ,” Mr Hadley said.“So, he thinks Tate is right in describing the bishop as anti-Zionist ... Be handy one day, Sonny Bill, if you got someone to pick up the paper and read it to you.”
In 2023, Mr Hadley called for Williams to be sacked from Channel 9, branding him a “lunatic” after the ex-rugby player shared a post from another controversial figure.
