The cast of the hit 90s US television series Friends will unite for a untitled, unscripted special for the launch of streaming service HBO Max, according to WarnerMedia.
They have also often appeared on each others' various post-Friends projects, with Perry, Aniston and Kudrow guest starring separately on Cox's show Cougar Town, while Aniston was the only cast member not to appear on Kudrow's comedy series Web Therapy.It is still unclear whether that means we will see the cast getting back into character to catch up for a coffee at Central Perk or simply couch Q and A with the stars.But it hasn't stopped Friends fans from getting excited.
Most of the cast members shared the same photo of the to their personal Instagram accounts, with the identical caption"It's happening…", sending their millions of fans into a Friendsy. But LeBlanc, true to his character's occasional cluelessness, chose instead to share a photo from the US television series M*A*S*H*.
Friends debuted in 1994 and wrapped up after 10 series. And 15 years on, the syndicated series has remained popular around the world.
