COVID-19 cases in New South Wales are now less than 20 kilometres from the Queensland border but are confined to just one family who are isolating, according to authorities.

Six cases have been recorded in the community, which has a population of about 150 people, with two cases emerging as recently as yesterday.Goodooga Land Council chairman Allan Lamb yesterday said while the outbreak was terribly concerning it was thankfully confined to one family who were isolating at their home and at this point were not seriously ill.
