NSW Labor leader Michael Daley might have emerged as the loser from the leaders' debate, but on Thursday he made every effort to resurrect his campaign | EstherHjHan

NSW Labor leader Michael Daley might have emerged as the loser from the leaders' debate, but on Thursday he made every effort to resurrect his campaign.

"Under the forward estimates the grants to TAFE are $3 billion and [funding for public schools] is $2.7 billion," he said, recalling the monetary figures that eluded him in the debate."The Premier made some errors last night as well ... she introduced an inadvertent toll on the M4 [and] she couldn't say what the standard of Gonski funding was."

"The people of NSW have a choice ... if they want to have a say, vote for me, if they want it to come down to the ground and have $730 million spent on it, vote for the Coalition." The government already offers financial help, but Mr Daley said his government would do better and offer both a "rent relief" program and the fund.
