To actually address diet-related illness in America, it’s going to take a complete overhaul of numerous industries. Doctors are going to need to stop assuming fat people are inherently unhealthy, the government is going to have to start allocating more than 4 percent of agricultural subsidies to fruits and vegetables, and work is going to have to change so people have more time, and money, to nourish themselves.
