'It's too soon for a Wagatha Christie TV drama' 🟠 'I’m not sure how entertaining a drama would be when most of the best lines are already known to viewers' ✍️ hiyalauren

Channel 4 has announced the cast for its two-parter Vardy v Rooney: A Courtroom Drama, which will air this year – the latest in a glut of shows about very recent events

It’s unsurprising, then, that a phenomenon such as this would become the subject of a TV drama. On Friday, rather inevitably, Channel 4 has announced the cast for its version of events, which will air before 2022 is out.actor and BAFTA winner Chanel Cresswell as Rooney, and Michael Sheen as David Sherborne, Rooney’s barrister .
