An exclusive digital command centre based in Cape Town is looking for an IT Support Assistant who will assist with the maintenance of the company’s computer systems and networks, helping to ensure smooth and efficient operation across the organisation.
This entry-level position will involve troubleshooting basic issues, supporting daily operations, and learning from more experienced IT staff.Assist with installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.Respond to basic service issues and requests under supervision.Assist with setting up accounts for new users and managing login credentials.Participate in testing and evaluating new technology under guidanceAdminister and manage the company’s telephone systems Demonstrate strong administrative skill, covering inventory, licensing, and procurement for smooth IT operations.Cloud services, and basic devops knowledge to the preferred skillsHigh school diploma required; further education or certification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is a plus.Willingness to learn and to pursue further training and certification.Hands-on experience with Windows and/or macOS environments preferred.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Comfortable using a variety of operating systems and software applications.While we would really like to respond to every application, should you not be contacted for this position within 10 working days please consider your application unsuccessful.
