An industry leader in TaaS based in Bedfordview is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join their team. This position will be responsible for providing support to our internal staff and clients, troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues, ensuring that our systems operate smoothly and securely.
Provide first-line technical support to internal staff and clients, addressing hardware, software, and network issues promptly and effectively. Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and network equipment to ensure optimal performance. Monitor system performance and security, implementing necessary updates and patches to safeguard against vulnerabilities.Assist in the deployment and management of IT infrastructure, including cloud services and on-premises solutions. Document all support activities, including incident reports, resolutions, and system configurations, to maintain a comprehensive knowledge base. Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement improvements to existing systems and processes. Provide training and support to staff on IT best practices and the use of company software and tools. Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.Proven experience in an IT support role, with a strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting methodologies.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical users effectively.Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and virtualization technologies.Desired Skills:
