Our client in the Fintech industry, with offices in Paarl, is seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer with over 4 years of IT support experience to manage and maintain their SaaS applications, cloud production environments, and Google Workspace.
Key responsibilities include managing cybersecurity posture, DNS records, IT policies, and compliance with ISO27001 and POPIA/GDPR. The role also involves providing first-line support, troubleshooting, desktop support , and acting as Information Security Officer. Relevant IT certifications are required, with a Google Workspace certification being a plus.Manage and maintain the email and productivity suite Manage Cyber Security posture including implementing improvementsTroubleshooting issues with the systems and networksMaintain IT policies and procedures in the ISMSMaintain the IT environment to industry regulations such as ISO27001, POPIA/GDPRAssist teams with planning and adoption of new tools and servicesInstalling new hardware and softwareGoogle Workspace Certification is a plusWillingness to assist Ad hocAlthough we have a work-from-anywhere policy and are only interested in results, this role requires the successful incumbent to be based at the Paarl offices 2 to 3 days a week.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
