NRL: New Eels captain Mitchell Moses has told the media that he wants halves partner Dylan Brown to remain at the club long term.
Dragons young gun Tyrell Sloan has admitted he was “uncoachable” at the start of his career and also opened up on losing his jersey to star recruit Clint Gutherson.
Sloan admits he was “a bit confused” when coach Shane Flanagan signed NSW representative Gutherson in November given he’d only just re-signed in June.Flanagan declared Gutherson would be the new fullback but Sloan chose not to “kick stones” and revealed the 30-year-old reached out to him before pre-season started.“I was a bit unsure about it. It’s fight or flight. I was a bit confused about the decision.
“Now it’s a big thing having to do stuff away from footy, surrounding yourself with the right people. “I was always up and down. But then I bought my own house, got some structure in my life and really settled down.
