Carlos Acutis was a computer prodigy who became known as "God's influencer" for his work spreading Roman Catholic teaching online, before his sudden death from leukemia in 2006.
Touted as the "patron saint of the internet", Acutis created a website to catalogue miracles and took care of websites for some local Catholic organisations in Italy. The teenager became the youngest contemporary person to be beautified in 2020 after appearing to posthumously cure a Brazilian boy, Mattheus Vianna, of a serious birth defect that made eating difficult.
