Gabriele Cairo was driving a campervan in SA's Mid North in October when he crashed into another car, causing the deaths of an elderly couple and their daughter, and injuring his wife.His lawyer has asked the court for a swift sentencing process, and Cairo will be sentenced in July.
Gabriele Cairo, 28, appeared in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Tuesday and pleaded guilty, via an interpreter, to causing the deaths of 84-year-old Clare woman Cynthia Clark, her 86-year-old husband John Clark and the couple's 54-year-old daughter from Jamestown,The two women died at the scene of the crash, at the intersection of Templeton and Blyth Roads at Everard Central, near Blyth, on October 31.
