ITV has announced an external review into the disgraced star Phillip Schofield’s departure from the chat show ‘This Morning’, according to TalkTV Contributor Rosanna Lockwood.
This comes after British television personality Phillip Schofield resigned from all commitments with broadcaster ITV within a week of stepping down as co-host of This Morning.
Mr Schofield revealed, in an exclusive statement to The Daily Mail, he engaged in an affair with a young male colleague several years ago during his time at This Morning and subsequently lied about it. “The network’s Chief Executive Dame Carolyn McCall says a barrister has been instructed to carry out a review of the facts, adding that ITV has taken this matter very seriously,” she said.
