Gary Lineker's Sitting on a Fortune and Ian Wright's Moneyball have reportedly been slashed by the broadcaster
ITV are said to have axed two celebrity-fronted game shows in another major schedule shake-up for the channel this autumn.
Sitting on a Fortune, presented by former England footballer Gary Lineker, saw contestants compete to win a cash prize of £100,000. Six players would battle it out by choosing where they sat in a row of seats - which played a pivotal role in a contestant's chances of winning. That is because only the front player in the line was able to give answers to questions - with a wrong answer seeing them demoted to the back of the queue.
Contestants were able to bag a substantial jackpot which would reach £250,000 if they played their cards right. The Moneyball moment saw players tasked with a choice which could leave them with either a new-found fortune, or going home empty-handed.
