Kerry Riches used the homophobic slur 'Well, this is gay' whilst speaking on Big Brother earlier this week, with her comments causing outrage amongst viewers across the nation
Big Brother producers have found themselves in hot water over the last few days after airing a scene which saw contestant Kerry Riches using a homophobic slur in an emotional outburst.
Trouble-makers Olivia and Jenkin then told Kerry that the viewers had voted for the housemate that they want to see lose their mattress. Many viewers have since taken to social media to hit out at the contestant for her use of an "outdated" homophobic slur."I hope Kerry gets reprimanded for that", another added, before a third continued, "I genuinely haven't heard someone use that expression in about 10 years. Shockingly awful and outdated. Actually even surprised Kerry would say it on TV".
The star was branded an "actress" earlier this week following another outburst after she was told to sit in the rain in order to win that part of the task, with those who stood in it for the longest being given the opportunity to win the VIP experience.
