A former rugby player and ITV I'm a Celeb contestant has claimed Holly Willoughby 'knew' about Phillip Schofield's affair with a younger colleague, despite Holly telling viewers Phil had lied to her.
Willoughby returned to her usual This Morning presenting slot after two weeks off due to the half-term break and the scandal. She hosted Monday's show alongside team member Josie Gibson who offered her support as Willoughby addressed the situation. James Haskell told Jeremy Vine it wasn't just Holly that knew about the affair but it was 'everyone'. James, a former son-in-law to ex-This Morning presenters Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan described claims nobody, including Holly, knew about the affair, as "nonsense" reports Birmingham Live.Haskell said: "Utter nonsense. She [Holly] asked: 'Are you OK?' A bloke off the TV cheated on his wife, I think I'll survive, I think I'll live.
Myleene Klass, who was also a guest on the show, added: "I think it's a case of the conversations that happen on that sofa, these are people who are trusted and welcomed into our house." The two were responding to Holly's claims she had been hurt by Phil's lies. On her return, Holly said: "Willoughby said: "Deep breath - firstly, are you OK? I hope so. It feels very strange sitting here without Phil and I imagine you might be feeling a lot like I have - shaken, troubled, let down, worried for the wellbeing of people on all sides of what's been going on, and full of questions.
