Cat Deeley has admitted she burst into tears upon meeting This Morning's new pet puppy Buddy, with co-host Ben Shephard having to 'hold her back' so she can present
Cat Deeley is quickly settling into her new role on the This Morning sofa, and she's been getting to know her new co-stars and team at ITV. One member of the This Morning team managed to reduce Cat to tears, however.
Speaking about the dog, Cat said: "Now before all of that, he’s the newest member of the This Morning family, apart from us." Her co-host Ben Shephard then added: "Apart from us, but I didn’t make you cry this morning like Buddy did this morning, she only met him a few moments ago and she burst into tears."
The duo made their presenting debut on This Morning on Monday, 11 March. Cat and Ben are now the permanent hosts of the ITV show, following the exits of Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby last year.
