Jacinta Price said Prime Minister Anthony Albanese's change of tack on the Voice campaign was 'insulting' to Indigenous Australians.
Jacinta Price has accused Anthony Albanese of"emotional blackmail" after the prime minister suddenly changed tack on Labor's Voice to Parliament campaign.
"I ask you to think about the counterfactual as well, how Indigenous Australians will feel if it's not successful. How Australians will feel, and how Australia is perceived internationally." “His argument to suggest that the Voice is actually a tool to bring people together it’s proving to be the exact opposite," Ms Price said.
Ms Price accused the PM of"emotional blackmail" after he called for people to consider Australia's international standing if a 'No' vote prevails. On Wednesday the government conceded to a Liberal Party demand for 'Yes' and 'No' pamphlets in the hopes of convincing the Opposition to get on board with the proposal.
