The admission, partly previewing her book 'The Whole Truth' set for release on Tuesday, marked the first time Henderson has publicly shared her story.Reading from the book’s prologue, Henderson told listeners that she stepped away from her popular morning show in late 2022 to seek treatment at the Betty Ford Centre in California.

“I was fortunate enough to have access to treatment, and I recognise how privileged that makes me. Unfortunately, not everyone has the same opportunity. Which is why, all my profits from my book, which is on sale tomorrow, will be donated to Odyssey House Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Centre.”
