Kyle & Jackie O Show chased ratings ‘at the detriment of my own morals and values’, co-host admits in new book The Whole Truth

The Kyle & Jackie O Show, which moved from 2DayFM to KIIS FM in 2014, is the top-ranked breakfast program in Sydney. Last year the pair signed a 10-year deal with KIIS FM’s owner, ARN Media, worth an estimated $200m.claimed its content normalises “violent misogyny”. Advertisers including AMP, Bendigo Bank, Flight Centre and Australian Super told Guardian Australia earlier this month that they had stopped or were reviewing their advertising with the show.
“This snippet of radio became an infamous story – a saga, really – weighed in on by police and advocates and politicians, all whacking us, and fair enough. We were even briefly taken off air,” Henderson wrote.
