Two musicians accused of sexually assaulting singer Jaguar Jonze in a Brisbane club have been committed to stand trial.
Deena Lynch, better known under her stage name Jaguar Jonze, alleged Matthew Khabbaz, 32, and Jesse Sewell, 34, sexually assaulted her at the club in the early hours of March 24, 2019.They were charged by Queensland detectives in June last year with sexual assault and common assault.
On her way home from the club, Lynch had texted Cois explaining she would be getting an Uber back and “it was getting way too feral without you”, the court heard.The court heard Lynch also messaged: “No one cares I have a boyfriend. It’s so f---ed.” “She did say she felt like Matt had behaved inappropriately and had tried to ...” he attempted to explain before being cut off by a line of questioning.
