Brazil's President Jair Bolsonaro has told hundreds of protesters he disagreed with partial coronavirus lockdowns implemented by some state governors.

Brazil President Jair Bolsonaro on Sunday joined hundreds of demonstrators outside army headquarters in the capital Brasilia protesting stay-at-home orders issued by state governors.

Mr Bolsonaro, a former army captain, has constantly criticised partial quarantine measures adopted by governors, including those in charge of the country's most populous states, Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, to halt the spread of the coronavirus.
