James and Louise lived together in a mansion in Hampshire during their relationship with the chef previously revealing they had no plans to ever marry.
Speaking to the Sunday People in 2019, he said: 'No, it doesn't interest me in the slightest, mainly because I've catered for so many weddings, really. The chef and the film boss, 63, met when she paid £18,000 to have him cook a meal for her as part of a charity auction in 2001 when he was 29.James, who is 12 years younger than Barbara, insisted the age difference never posed a problem in their relationship.
Barbara lavished the chef with gifts and he recalled one instance when she offered to buy him a £180,000 Aston Martin which he felt was too exepensive a gift.
