“The barriers faced by women, and by those of diverse backgrounds, and those with neurodivergence, or disability, are not necessarily obvious to those for whom the institutions were designed. Former NSW Law Society president Juliana Warner, who spoke for the Law Council of Australia, said Justice Needham had been an “outspoken and tireless champion” for women and equality in the legal profession.
