Sinner had tested positive for anabolic agent clostebol, which he said had entered his system from a member of his support team through massages and sports therapy.

Men’s world No.1 Jannik Sinner has accepted a three-month tennis ban for an anti-doping rule violation following a settlement with the World Anti-Doping Agency .

However, WADA confirmed on Saturday that it had entered into a case resolution agreement with Sinner. “WADA accepts that Mr Sinner did not intend to cheat, and that his exposure to clostebol did not provide any performance-enhancing benefit and took place without his knowledge as the result of negligence of members of his entourage.

WADA said Sinner would not be stripped of any titles he had won since the positive result, which include his 2024 US Open and 2025 Australian Open titles.
