Japanese band Survive Said the Prophet (SSTPofficial) played their first-ever U.K. show last week

hit London for its first-ever U.K. show on Friday , rocking the crowd at the Boston Music Room.

Many of the group's songs have reached international audiences by being featured as the opening numbers of various anime series and movies. The band, called "SABAPURO" by fans, has steadily built a following outside of Japan where it's based . Fans from all over Europe flocked to see the five-man band perform live, welcoming the members with loud cheers and applause when they appeared onstage. SABAPURO kicked off the set with "TRANSlated," and frontman Yosh hyped up the crowd in-between songs in fluent English: "The first thing I want to say is that this country is so beautiful," he shared.
