Glasgow girl Jean claimed she had been 'banging on This Morning's door for years' in the hope of landing the prestigious TV role.
A Place in the Sun star Jean Johansson has secured herself a role on ITV This Morning after 'banging on the door' for multiple years.
She told OK! Magazine: "I'm now the proud competition host. I just knew it was meant to be. My first competition was in my home area of Inverclyde. It was a really special moment." Birmingham Live. reports that Jean also confirmed she'd signed up to A Place In The Sun for another year. “My agent at the time told me the opportunity would never come up again. Presenters never leave – look at Jasmine Harman, Laura Hamilton and Scarlette Douglas.
