in 2020 with a series of special editions, but its Indian division is proud of another milestone. The market-specific Jeep Compass 5th Anniversary Edition is celebrating five years of Compass production in India, coming with plenty of kit and special badges.
The second-gen Compass is the first Jeep to be locally produced in India. The model arrived in 2017 and received a together with the rest of the world. The new 5th Anniversary Edition is distinguished by a few elements, with the most obvious being the special badge on the tailgate.The SUV is fitted with granite-crystal 18-inch alloy wheels shod in all-season tires. It also features body-colored plastic cladding with silver accents, while the grille, roof, roof rails, and mirrors are painted in black. Inside, Jeep opted for a dark theme with black leather upholstery, piano black details, and gunmetal accents.
Predictably, there are no mechanical changes. This means that the Jeep Compass 5th Anniversary Edition is offered with either the turbocharged 1.4-liter Fire petrol engine producing 161 hp and 250 Nm of torque, or the 2.0-liter Multijet diesel producing 168 hp and 350 Nm of torque. The latter is also available in 4×4 guise when mated to a nine-speed auto .
