Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones says quarterback Dak Prescott will be out for 'several' weeks.
The NFL is back and so is our overreactions. Mackenzie Salmon 'overreacts' to the biggest storylines in the NFC after all the action in Week 1.But as owner Jerry Jones said, their second loss was even more disappointing: the loss of franchise quarterback Dak Prescott for the next “several” weeks.
Prescott initially thought he jammed his finger when he realized he could not grip the ball. So he jogged to the sideline to ask the training staff to “yank” it back into place. Instead, the training staff quickly guided Prescott to the locker room for X-rays. The fracture was “cleaner than it could have been,” the team said, but Jones nonetheless described the disappointment as “excruciating.”
The Cowboys’ next four games are against the Cincinnati Bengals, New York Giants, Washington Commanders and Los Angeles Rams.
