The plane sent out a distress signal as it flew into Scottish air space
A Jet2 flight that was scheduled to land in Edinburgh this afternoon sent out an distress signal after a passenger fell ill onboard.However, the Jet2 Flight LS780 sent out a code 7700 as it approached Dalkeith in Midlothian at around 1.30pm, indicating a general emergency.
