New York Jets coach Robert Saleh took the rare step of talking for the second time on the same day Wednesday, after the big news of the day.
At the moment Davis posted to social media, Jets coach Robert Saleh was giving a one-on-one interview to a national radio show and when he was done he took the rare step of stepping to the lectern for the second time in one day.
“The door is always open for guys who want to play football,” Saleh said. “But that obviously is more for Corey.” But it leaves a bit of a hole at a position that isn’t exactly stacked for the Jets outside of reigning rookie of the year Garrett Wilson.
