The budget airline is offering thousands of discounted fares to the country, with holidaymakers able to land in either Osaka or the buzzing capital, Tokyo. The flights are $350 or less with direct flights from Sydney, Brisbane, and Cairns. Budget flights include $239 from Cairns to Osaka, $282 from Brisbane to Osaka, $314 Sydney to Osaka and $324 Melbourne to Osaka. Business class flights from Cairns to Tokyo start at $899.
“Travel between Brisbane to Japan is up 172 per cent compared with 2019 levels,” Costi said. “You can travel from the end of this year to dates at the start of next year as well.” Earlier this month, Jetstar brought back its popular service from Sydney to Osaka.
