Since taking the reins at Jil Sander two years ago, power couple Luke and Lucie Meier have managed to honor the founder's minimalist legacy while adding their own unique sensibilities to the Italian luxury brand. For Spring 2020, the designers championed a warmer mood, with personal touches and flourishes like raffia fringe and soothing prints.
The Meiers no doubt have plenty of ideas and design cues to work with from their years of experience in houses as diverse as Supreme and Dior. A lot of those concepts can also be found in the brand's Jil Sander+ line. Here's everything else you need to know about the collection.Although not exactly known for their prints, this season the Meiers injected some abstract artistic elements through colorful patterns and marble prints.
