The Mask star was the guest of honour at France’s top film awards, where his surprise appearance and refreshed look sparked bizarre online rumours that a clone had taken his place at the event. His publicist quickly dismissed the speculation, confirming it was indeed Carrey on stage. During the ceremony Carrey publicly introduced Min Ah and thanked her in his speech.

“I really like my quiet life, and I really love putting paint on canvas, and I really love my spiritual life, and I feel like — and this is something you might never hear another celebrity say as long as time exists — I have enough,” he said.
