Comedian Jimmy Fallon, host of The Tonight Show, cracked a joke about Birmingham’s Vulcan statue.
“Thank you, Vulcan statue, for looking like everyone trying to get service in their friends’ basement,” Fallon said in the bit, which has been airing as a promotional spot in the Birmingham TV market. It apparently has not been aired nationwide. The “Thank You Notes” segment normally airs on Friday nights during The Tonight Show, which begins at 10:30 p.m.
