The 84-year-old comedian has explained how he is still going strong 60 years after he first shot to stardom
The Liverpool comedian has enjoyed a legendary career in the industry as he first shot to stardom in 1964 when he secured his first comedy show, It's Tarbuck. The 84-year-old is still going strong 60 years later and is about to embark on a tour of the country with An Evening With Jimmy Tarbuck.
Jimmy has rubbed shoulders with the most famous cultural icons of all time during his career and started at a young age as he was in the same school as John Lennon. The stand up has gone on to perform duets with Sir Tom Jones and Dame Shirley Bassey during his career and he reflected on his incredible life in the limelight.
The entertainer's new show will include stories from his amazing career and the audience will also have the chance to ask him their own burning questions. Jimmy has never held back on sharing his honest opinions and the comedy legend answered some questions on who he feels are fellow greats in the industry.
In 2012, Jimmy was able to walk out on stage with his friends and legendary contemporaries, Des O'Connor, Bruce Forsyth and Ronnie Corbett. Des, Bruce and Ronnie have all sadly died over the past decade and Jimmy said he is grateful they got to share that moment on stage together.
