The Swede has two matches left in charge before he officially takes charge at Pittodrie on June 3.
Jimmy Thelin is preparing to bring his big Elfsborg energy to Aberdeen after an emotional farewell to fans.
He admits that his stress levels increased after deciding to see out the season with Elfsborg despite accepting the Dons' offer to permanently replace Barry Robson after the Neil Warnock experiment proved to be a disaster. The 43-year-old Thelin is desperate to leave on a high. He has plenty of good memories already, however, and plans to harness the Elfsborg energy to get Aberdeen firing again after a miserable campaign.
“It has been quite stressful now because I want to leave the club with my head held high and not lose games. This was the last time on the home pitch and it was emotional, and also before and after the game.
