Prime Minister Anthony Albanese highlighted the importance of job creation in central Queensland and the potential of renewable energy in the region during a recent press conference.
The PM praised the work of Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk, stating, “the transition that we’re seeing with increased recent use of renewable energy provides not just a challenge, I see it as an enormous opportunity for Queensland.”
Albanese further expressed his desire to promote advanced manufacturing jobs in the area by collaborating with Premier Palaszczuk, adding, “I want to see more manufacturing jobs in Queensland. And when I visited Central Queensland in places like Maryborough I’ve seen a template for where Australia should go.”
