Absolute Taste is hiring staff for the race weekend
Hospitality and catering jobs are up for grabs at Silverstone for the British Grand Prix weekend. Event company Absolute Taste is hiring staff of all skill levels and according to the advert on Indeed, it is the "perfect opportunity" to earn some extra money while "building your CV, gaining experience and also exposing yourself to future opportunities" with the company.
With a rich history dating back to 1950 of hosting Grands Prix, Silverstone is an iconic venue in world motor racing. Absolute Taste said it is an opportunity to "help deliver an outstanding catering and hospitality service" at one of the biggest UK sporting events. Dates you must be available for are either starting Wednesday, June 29 or Thursday, June 30, up to and including Sunday, July 3 which covers the race weekend.The advert reads: "We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic, passionate and talented casual staff to help us deliver an outstanding event. You will be part of an amazing team of like-minded and friendly individuals with an interest in hospitality and catering and a passion for food, drink, and exceptional customer service.
The race takes place over 52 laps of the 5.891-kilometre Silverstone Circuit with practice on the Friday , qualifying on the Saturday and the race starting at 3pm on Sunday . The 2022 edition of the race was won by Spaniard Carlos Sainz Jr, with seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton placing third behind Red Bull's Sergio Perez.READ NEXT:
