Billionaire philanthropist Judith Neilson wanted her journalism institute to go in a more “grassroots” direction.In her first interview since those resignations, Ms Neilson said she fell out with the institute’s executive director Mark Ryan and director Jonathan Teperson after the development of extensive plans for an annual “Judith Neilson Prize” without her knowledge.
